Owls are one of the world’s most fascinating creatures. Aside from having historically been considered mystical beings, they’re the only nocturnal bird, are one of the quietest hunters, and their camouflage makes them practically indistinguishable to the naked eye, even during the day when they’re sleeping.
For these reasons, owls can be incredibly hard for even the most experienced nature photographers to capture, let alone locate. So when you find someone that can – and does it well – you know they’re incredibly talented. Thai photographer, Sasi Smith, is one such person.
